PTA Committees

The PTA provides support and resources to SIES through an organized committee structure.

Events Committee (Led by Events Chair)

Members of this committee will plan and execute all SIES events including, but not limited to: Back to School Beach Bash, Halloween Trunk or Treat, Movie Night, Mother/Son Event, Sweetheart Dance, and Teacher Appreciation Week.

Hospitality Committee (Led by Hospitality Chair)

Members of this committee will participate in providing a positive, spirited and thankful SIES environment for our students, teachers and support staff. They are responsible for the planning and implementation of Hospitality events and activities (e.g. Woot Woot Wagon, Teacher and Staff Luncheons, and stocking Teacher Workrooms).

Outreach Committee (Led by Outreach Chair)

Members of this committee will find ways that SIES can provide time and donations to help our community and sister school North Charleston Elementary School. They are responsibile for the planning and implementation of all Outreach activities and events. 

Spirit Committee (Led by Spirit Chair)

Members of this committee are responsible for creating, designing, and purchasing spirit merchandise, as well as the planning and implementation of Spirit events/activities (e.g. Spirit Nights).
