We are so grateful for our amazing custodians and all they do to keep SIES running smoothly! To celebrate them, the PTA gifted each custodian SIES swag, donuts, and a Chick-fil-A gift card.

In honor of National Instructional Coach Day, the PTA celebrated our wonderful instructional coach, Ms. Outlaw, with a gift card and candle. Thank you, Ms. Outlaw, for the guidance, encouragement, and support you provide to our SIES teachers and students!

Parent/Teacher conference day is a long one for our hardworking teachers, so the PTA was happy to keep them fueled with a Home Team BBQ smorgasbord! Additionally, the Woot Woot Wagon took a swing around the school on October 20th to treat our teachers with mid-morning donuts, fruit and coffee.

The rain cleared just in time for the game, and our Skimmer families had a wonderful night cheering on the Charleston Battery! It was such a fun and memorable evening for our SIES community at Patriots Point!

Our PTA runs on the time, talents, and kindness of volunteers—and there’s a place for you! We have plenty of fun ahead and need helping hands to make it happen, including our winter Sweetheart Dance for daughters and a special grown-up and our spring Kickboard Jamboree for sons and a special grown-up.

Whether you can help with a small task or want to take a bigger role, we’d love to have you. It’s a wonderful way to meet other families, support our school, and explore whether serving on next year’s PTA Board might be right for you!

Help spread a little holiday cheer! Donations to the Holiday Rays Fund provide gifts for the support staff who do so much for SIES. Click the image below to contribute.

You’re already feeding your family, so why not give back to SIES while you’re at it? Two local businesses are making it easy to support our school with purchases you’re already planning to make!

Purple Bag Lunch donates $1 to the SIES PTA for every meal purchased using code SI.ElemPTO—perfect for easy school lunches, after-school snacks, or meals on the go!

Planning a football watch party or game day gathering? Order a Tailgate Box from Mex 1 Coastal Cantina, add the Game Day Giveback offer, and use code SIPROMO at checkout to receive a special discount while a portion of your purchase supports our PTA.

It’s a win-win: less meal prep for you and more support for our Skimmers! Check out the flyers below for more details.

Bring blankets or low-seated lawn chairs and settle in for a fun night under the stars with our Skimmer community. Come hungry! Food trucks will offer dinner, snacks, and desserts for purchase. Please remember that this is not a drop-off event. Parents must remain with their children, and no re-entry will be permitted.

Admission is a canned food donation benefiting ECCO. View ECCO’s wish list here.
